I had the pleasure to meet Suzanne over a year ago when she came to the studio for her hair and makeup trial preview. We had a great time!

We met up again a few weeks ago, but this time in her suite at the Casa Marina in Key West.  She was sporting a serious bridal glow!  Even the power was lost and we thought we’d never get it back. Haha!

Then she unveiled her newly acquired hair piece… I almost died!  A long silk ribbon partially covered by an intricate rhinestone pattern. This piece was to be worn as a headband with the ties hanging down her back. Wow.

For those of you drooling, here’s the website. www.zolakeller.com.  This is the same place where her dress was purchased. Suzanne and her mom partially custom designed it.  One of my fave gown to date.

Two words come to mind when I think of Suzanne. Chic, glam.

For her hair we went for a timeless sleek chignon, placed low on the nape area. I first blew dried Suzanne’s locks then flat ironed it using a silk serum for a smooth silky finish.  No frizz here.  Then I created the chignon. Very chic.

On to the makeup.  Suzanne requested a very strong smokey eye in the dark grays and black.  False eyelashes were a must too.

I airbrushed her foundation and blush. With my Mac Paint Pot I was able to create a shape to specifically enhance her dreamy exotic eyes.  I added a hint of shimmery purple right in the center of the her lid creating a subtle highlight. On her lips I used a fawny colored liner and a gloss on top.  Super glam.

The paint pots are fantastic, creamy acrylic base eyeshadows that dry to a complete waterproof crease less finish. I dig them.  I am in the middle of doing a post with swatches.  I’ll post soon.

And here’s some love pour moi.

So as I await Robert Madrid pro shots here’s a wonderful video of Suzanne’s and Scott nuptial. Love how well Suzanne’s excitement was captured (00:52).
