Notice something different this Monday morning on SMP?

TADA!!!

I am so pleased to announce the launching of our brand new Studio Marie-Pierre website! Our new website has been quite a project, but we could never have done it without the fantastic support of our beautiful bridal clients, our local Key West wedding photographers and wedding planners, Key West resorts and the incredible designer and code guru who have contributed to our website’s development and creation.

Our new website features the gorgeous faces of so many of our Key West brides who have honored us with their presence on their wedding day. I am grateful for the opportunity to create perfect bridal hair and makeup on your special day. I am also so pleased to have been provided with lovely photos to showcase our work and your special day by the wonderful photographers whose work graces our brand new photo galleries. I’d like to give a special “Thank You” as well to the local Key West resorts and wedding planners who have worked so closely with the Studio Marie-Pierre team to make each beautiful bride’s day a great success.
Making a gorgeous Key West destination wedding is truly a group effort, and I am thrilled to be a part of it.

It was a long, hard road, but we’ve seen the end of the “Live Gorgeously!” Contest and we can award three lovely ladies with our Finals Prizes. Everyone who made it to the Finals Round will receive their choice of either FREE false eyelashes or a FREE spray tan on their wedding day. Now, let’s meet our Finals Prize winners.

Grand Prize – Sarah K. Martin

With a whopping 376 votes, Sarah K. Martin from Lexington, Kentucky is our Grand Prize Winner. She and her entire bridal party have won FREE hair and makeup valued at $1,000. Congratulations Sarah! We can’t wait to see you and your girls on your big day!

First Runner Up – Emma Heath

With 204 votes, Emma Heath is our First Runner Up. We loved her funny video with her bridesmaids, and we’re looking forward to meeting all of them. Emma’s won FREE hair and makeup for the bride!

Second Runner Up – Devon Gebhart

With 79 votes, Devon Gebhart is our Second Runner Up. She was the first to submit her video and we adored the “When Harry Met Sally” theme that she chose. She’s won a FREE mani/pedi for her big day.

We know these ladies will all look dazzling on their wedding days. Thank you all for participating in this contest. We’ll see you in Key West soon for your destination weddings!

Are you ready to get a little choked up? It never fails. Every time we press play on a new “Live Gorgeously!” video entry, we start smiling from ear to ear and get misty eyed. We’re totally impressed that six lovely ladies have already submitted their videos. The deadline is quickly approaching for March 15th and we can’t wait to see what the rest of our gals come up with! Devon Gebhart, 76 votes: ”When Brent Met Devon” is our version of our “When Harry Met Sally” love story. Although we don’t always agree on when and where we met, one thing we know is how excited we are for our wedding in Key West this May and for Studio Marie-Pierre to be a part of it! Karlene Andrews, 31 votes: This is a video slideshow of “The Story of Us,” a summary of how Steve and I met, fell in love, and our plans for our wedding! We have waited 17 years for our special day to come! I am super excited to have Studio Marie-Pierre to make me feel and look beautiful for this day! Smather’s Beach, Key West, FL April 3, 2013.

Sarah K. Martin, 277 votes:  Jack and Sarah: Living Gorgeously in Our Old Kentucky Home! Horses, basketball, bourbon, and great friends and family have been key elements in our lives and relationship. We love the Bluegrass with all our hearts, but when it came time to choose the location for our wedding, we had to come back to the Conch Republic to say “I do.” Our “Hemingway House” wedding will be an affair to remember with Studio Marie-Pierre helping my bridesmaids, mother and I get ready to walk down the aisle and dance the night away. We’re counting the days till it’s time to fly south!

Elizabeth Lowman, 25 votes: This video tells about our rocking wedding planned in Key West for April 14th. We can’t wait to get down there and have a blast with the people we love and celebrate our love for one another!

Tristen Dye, 37 votes: From the beginning, Adam and I have always enjoyed traveling. Whether it was the Indianapolis 500, the Kentucky Derby, or a quick trip to Florida, we always appreciated new places and loved doing different things. Two years ago, Adam took a new job involving significant travel, and we boarded an unforgettable traveling experience. This video is a summary of the amazing places we were able to see together. We have been very blessed.

Emma Heath, 148 votes: My bridesmaids and I got together to show Studio Marie-Pierre and the world why we need to win this contest! We love each other so much and always have a good time. Winning hair and makeup for Jason and my special day will make our time together even more fun!

What’s a sweeter love story than high school sweethearts reunited only to find out they had found the loves of each others’ lives at age 14 all those years ago? That’s Karlene and Steve’s story. They began dating during high school in Upstate New York, but when Karlene moved to Texas for college, they soon went their separate ways.

“We always held each other close to the heart,” Karlene explains in an email.

After college, she returned to New York, she and Steve reunited, and they began dating again.Today, they live in Odessa in the Finger Lakes region of New York with their two dogs.

When it came time to plan a wedding, they knew they wanted a tropical getaway that was still in the United States. The more they talked about what they were looking for, the more friends and family began to suggest Key West. They look forward to an intimate ceremony on Smather’s Beach in April, and can’t wait to become man and wife 17 years after they first met.

Karlene has already won her choice of a FREE spray tan or FREE false eyelashes application in the “Live Gorgeously!” Contest, and she’s the final finalist to be entered into the Finals Round of the for her chance to win FREE hair and makeup for her and her entire bridal party!
