Katie & Keven | The Southernmost House, Key West Weddings

Sometimes a stormy wedding day can be just as beautiful as one with perfect weather, especially if the photographer is able to capture the incredible drama of the storm-clouds. When Katie and Keven got married, the day started out clear and bright, and when the storm rolled in, it didn’t take away from the beauty of the day at all.

Katie’s beautiful hair and make-up was done by Amanda, one of our Studio Marie-Pierre stylists. Her soft, low hairstyle was accented by a beautiful flower and elegant, vintage-style veil that truly tied together her bridal ensemble.

The Southernmost House, which was their wedding location of choice, has so many classic features and elegant views. We love this shot of Katie on their staircase. So many intricate details were captured by the amazingly talented Romi Burianova of Weddings by Romi.

Each of these wedding photographs is a testament to the fact that your wedding day does not have to be ruined by inclement weather. Looking at these stunning pictures, it’s hard to imagine how this day could have been so elegant without the dramatic clouds! This is yet another reason why I absolutely love Key West weddings!
