Melisa & Brian | Fort Zachary Taylor Wedding
Alright, I admit it…sometimes I play favorites. I can’t help it!
Melisa and Brian, a lovely couple who celebrated their nuptials with a Fort Zachary Taylor wedding, took things in a completely different direction from many of the weddings I see in Key West… and I mean that in a good way! You all know I just love everything weddings—especially Key West weddings—but I also love uniqueness, and this couple nailed that.
A Beautiful Bride’s Perfect Accessory
I styled Melisa’s hair and makeup for her special day, giving her an interlaced side chignon that screamed elegance. And I have to say I simply loved using her gorgeous hairpiece of gold laurel leaves that she chose for herself. She reminded me absolutely of a Grecian goddess. Her simply styled, yet elegant lace gown pulled together her sweet, feminine look just perfectly.
I also loved her handsome groom Brian’s splash of color. What a different look, yet so perfect for the laid-back style of Key West.
Versatile Fort Zachary Taylor Wedding Location
The couple celebrated their Fort Zachary Taylor wedding with a nature-filled photo shoot among the trees. You know I’m a sucker for a beach wedding, but I still love weddings that encompass all of the other natural aspects that Key West has to offer. Fort Zachary Taylor shows us that just because you’re celebrating your wedding in Key West, that doesn’t mean you have to forego stately trees and wooded landscapes.
