The Bride and Groom

Sarah and Beni are a gorgeous couple, and I had the great pleasure of styling the stunning bride at Studio Marie-Pierre for her destination wedding in Key West. Sarah had a vision to be a natural-looking and yet sophisticated bride, and I’d say that’s exactly the look that she achieved. We applied airbrush make-up and a created a deconstructed chignon for her hair. Her classic-style wedding gown and wedding veil paired well with her elegant accessories.

Key West Wedding Venue: Audubon House

The couple chose the historical Key West wedding venue Audubon House, a very lush and tropical location, as the scene for their beautiful destination wedding. This almost 200-year-old Southern manor is rich in history with its historical and naturalist art exhibits. Its grounds also boast an absolutely breathtaking acre of tropical gardens filled with exotic plant life, brick pathways, and even some geckos. Audubon House is a classic piece of Key West history, and a wonderful old-world location for a Key West destination wedding. Excellent choice, Sarah and Beni!

The stunning photographs of Sarah and Beni were done by the talented Key West wedding photographer Kelly Hornberger. Her images capture the natural and sophisticated beauty of the bride, as well as the essence of the historical Audubon House. The old-world beauty of the wedding venue provides such an elegant background for the couple’s wedding pictures. Some of their photos look like outtakes from a classic film! I have to applaud Kelly Hornberger for her photography that does so well capturing the essence of Key West.
