Anna & Daniel Sunset Key Wedding | Key West Florida
Elegant doesn’t even begin to describe Anna and Daniel’s Sunset Key wedding. This couple pulled out all the stops, with a perfectly stunning location, high-end vendors, a famous gown designer, Galia Lahav, and a great party that spelled a great time for all. This wedding was truly an incredible event! I worked with the couple doing Anna’ makeup for their epic engagement shoot and have been looking forward to this wedding ever since!
The wedding day began with Anna’s entire bridal party hair and makeup (all the girls were gorgeous!) followed by Anna’s that I couldn’t wait to see again! Knowing that she was going to slip into the stunning Patchouli gown by Galia Lahav, we wanted to ensure that her styling was in keeping with the overall look. Her chosen hairstyle was an elegant half-up-do with her long dark locks styled in beautiful, looping waves. This style set off the gorgeous open back of the gown perfectly.
For her makeup look, we went with a deep, smoky eye contrasted with a pink lip. This was perfect against her gorgeous mass of dark hair and really helped her blue eyes to POP! I always tell brides to play up their assets on their wedding day, and the beautiful Anna is a wonderful example of why every bride should do just that!
When Anna got into that gown, she took everyone’s breath away in that intricate design. Her accessories were stunning designer pieces that pulled in more beautiful tones and textures, from her ornate, detailed earrings, to her sexy, edgy shoes!
The couple’s photos are set against the incredible backdrops of Sunset Key and Saint Mary’s Basilica where they were married, as well as at a bunch of the best landmarks around Key West! Each image from the day evokes the exact feelings that the wedding itself inspired: pure elegance!
