Catherine + Sean | St Mary’s & Casa Marina Key West
When a Key West destination wedding hits the spot with elegance, whimsy, and good old island charm, you know you have a winner. This was how I felt about Catherine and Sean’s gorgeous beachside nuptials. Their stunning wedding featured so many of the beautiful details that truly make a wedding unforgettable.
I styled Catherine in her Gulf view room at the Marriott Beachside Suites Key West. We went for a gorgeous, loose updo that managed to be both elegant and casual. I am in love with the little bits of sparkle in that gorgeous hair accessory. It went so well with that incredible, detailed gown.
Her smoky eye pulled the look together, contrasting in a perfect way with the crisp white of her dress and the soft blush palette of her bridal party and adorable little flower girl. The wedding featured tons of pretty pink details, from the bow on her bridal dress hanger to the stunning rose bouquet. Her accessories featured surprising pops of bright blue, like that incredibly unique engagement ring that just left me breathless!
I loved the way Sean went for a deep blue rather than traditional black tux, pulling in the deep blue accent color in Catherine’s jewels. I just love a couple with an eye for those incredible details!
The wedding party was transported by trolley to the wedding site—Saint Mary’s Star of the Sea Church—for a beautiful ceremony. They took some gorgeous pictures around the grounds of the well-known Key West landmark.
For the reception, the wedding party moved over to Casa Marina Key West for a candle-lit dinner and a night of dancing. Those incredible ocean-side pier shots of the bride and groom, captured by the talented photographer, Romi Burianova, encapsulate some of the most beautiful moments of any destination wedding in Key West.
What a great day at Casa Marina Key West, and what a wonderful couple! I enjoyed every minute of working with Catherine and Sean and I wish them all the best in their life together.
